Black Leopard Makeup Look!

Miss saaammage is having a contest on YouTube right now, celebrating 50k subs and her 2nd year anniversary on youtube. The theme is animal inspired make up looks. Now, Im a newbie when it comes to make up, so have almost no eyeshadow colors, I have only neutrals. I really wanted to enter though, contests are always fun not just because of the prizes, but well at least for me, it's exciting coming up with different looks. So I choose the black leopard/jaguar/panther etc. Aren't those spots beautiful, who doesn't love leopard print? and I think black leopard print is gorgeous. So I've posted my video entry bellow, so you can see what I came up with. I've also added some pictures of the finished look. What do you think? any advice? (oh yeah, that line between my lips, I was going to draw whiskers, and a cat mouth but I decided against it)

A Day at Universal Studios Hollywood

We headed out very early, at six am. Why? we went on a Friday, and since I don't drive, my dad had to take us. He needs to be at work by seven, so he had to take us early so he had time to get to work. We could have gone on the bus, but he offered to take us. So when we arrived we were practically the first ones there. We just spent our time exploring the City Walk, which is just shopping stores and restaurants. By 7 am people were already starting to show up. While we waited for the park to open, we took some pictures and I filmed us just walking around, which I shouldn't have because by the end of the day my battery was running out so I couldn't film much. So the park opened the door at 9 am, but they didn't let us go on the rides until 10 am. Before we went though, I did some research online about the opening and closing time of the park, restaurants, lockers, map of the park stuff like that. I'm one of those people who plans everything in detail before they do it, I like to be prepared :).

So I found out that the new King Kong 3D ride is actually part of the studio tour, and the last studio tour ends at 3 pm, two hours before the park closes. So we decided to go on the studio tour first. When they opened the doors, almost everyone rushed to see the studio tour. We got annual passes, oh and by the way they scan your index finger when you go in. The studio tour is 45 minutes long, but to me it seemed way shorter. I was really excited to see the actual movie sets, especially the Bates Motel. Sadly only people with the VIP pass get to walk around the sets, regular people aren't allowed to get out of the tram. After that we headed to the Revenge of the Mummy ride. Its a roller coaster, a very fast one, but it isn't high. At the start you go straight, very slowly and after about 40 seconds you're thrusted very fast forwards, so I advice you to lean your head all the way back, because after the ride goes through some twits and turns it stops very abruptly and if you're head isn't leaning against the head rest, it will slam backwards very hard. I got very dizzy the first time I went on it, my head was being flung sideways and then it slammed hard against the head rest when it stopped. But its very fun, not scary at all, we went on it seven times ;)

So after we went on it for the seventh time, even though we wanted to go on it again, we decided to check out the rest of the rides. The Jurassic Park ride is right next to the mummy ride so went on that one. I though it was going to be boring, because you go on this sort of raft looking cart, only it's on rails, which are under water btw, you go slowly up and towards the "jungle" there are a few dinosaurs and it doesn't seem very fun but its very beautiful, I'll post a picture bellow. It has an 84 feet tall water fall drop, which is almost completely vertical, and it goes very fast. It actually scared me a bit, because it looks as if you are falling straight down and very fast! it looks as if you're going to crash straight into the water. You do get wet, but not drenched. You'll get more wet if you're on the sides, and mostly from your but since the water splashes and it goes inside. It is by far my favorite ride. At one time I sat next to an eight year old girl, who was riding by herself and said it was her third time on the ride and that she had been there the day before as well! What a brave brave girl. I went on it eight times, I would have gone more than that but I still wanted to see the other rides, like the Simpsons, Shrek 4D, the animal actors, the special effects stage and hose of horrors.

Shrek 4D was okay, you sit in a sort of movie theatre, you put 3d glasses on and you sit through a 30 minute show where your seat moves according to what's happening in the movie, for example there is a part where shrek is in a carriage and while its driving you feel as if you're in the carriage, your seat moves. I think it's more oriented towards younger kids. The Simpsons ride looks huge from the outside but its not that great. You go into this room, that looks like an elevator, you stand through a simpsons clip then the door open and you are asked to go into the cart, then the movie starts, the cart moves sideways, it leans downwards and upwards and it is fun but I was expecting more, again I feel it is for younger kids. I loved the animal actors show, it was very short only about 15 minutes, but I loved seeing the cool things the animals could do. I recommend you go see it. The special effects stage is great for someone who doesn't know much about them, they have a green screen they show you some cool equipment that does certain effects and there is a lot of interraction with the audience, people are asked if they want to volunteer for sketches and it really fun. Its a bit long though and you have to sit on these sort of bleachers and its really uncomfortable. I would put this at the last of my list, even for someone who went for the first time. We didn't get to see the termanator ride, or the house of horrors. But hopefully we'll go again very soon because I can not wait to go on the Jurassic Park ride again. By the way, they have these themed restaurants, what I mean is that they are made to look like the streets of Paris, London, Italy, New York very interesting. Oh I almost forgot, they have two sections for the lockers the upper lot at the entrance and the lower lot right next to the mummy ride. The ones by the mummy ride are free for an hour, but you have to pay if you're going to use the lockers for longer than that, I think its $3 for two hours and $5 for 3 and then $8 for the entire day. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants because we didn't want to have a big meal and then having to wait to go on the rides again, so we ended up buying a hot dog, soda and chips at a Pink's Hot Dog stand. It was $7 for the hot dog, soda and chips. There other food stands through out the park, like pop corn stand, dipping dots stand, candy stand etc. Oh and for the rides, they take your picture and you can see them at the exit. I bought one from when my brother and I were on the Jurassic ride, we were the only ones on the ride, because we went right before it closed.
